When a storm drops a tree on your home, car, or blocks your driveway, every minute matters. Alpine Tree Service maintains round-the-clock emergency crews serving Carney, MD, we're on-site fast, work safely, and leave your property secure.
Severe weather, unexpected disease, or sudden structural failure can bring a tree down without warning. When that happens in Carney, MD, you need a team that answers the phone at midnight, arrives quickly, and has the skill and equipment to handle the situation safely, without making it worse.
Alpine Tree Service operates a dedicated emergency response division specifically for fallen and failing trees. Our on-call crews are stationed across Carney, MD and carry full rigging equipment, aerial lift trucks, and chainsaws rated for the largest hardwoods. We don't subcontract emergency calls or put you on a 48-hour wait list. When you call our emergency line, a real team member picks up, and dispatch happens within minutes.
Emergency tree situations come in many forms. A wind-toppled oak resting on a roof requires completely different techniques than a storm-split maple hanging over a power line. Our arborists assess each scene the moment they arrive, identify the highest-risk elements, and work systematically to neutralize danger before cutting begins. We communicate with you throughout the process so you know exactly what's happening and why.
Common emergency scenarios we handle in Carney, MD include trees fallen on structures, large limbs suspended over occupied areas (widow makers), trees uprooted and leaning against fences or neighboring properties, trunks blocking roads or driveways, and root failures exposing buried utilities. In cases where utility lines are involved, we coordinate with your utility provider before any cuts are made, safety is never compromised for speed.
After the immediate danger is resolved, our crew handles complete cleanup. All debris is removed, chips are hauled away, and the area is raked and inspected before we leave. If the event reveals underlying tree health issues on nearby trees, we'll flag those for follow-up, because the last thing you need after one emergency is another one next season.
Our emergency services are available every day of the year including holidays. We serve all residential and commercial properties in Carney, MD and the surrounding area. For non-life-threatening situations that still need prompt attention, a large hanging branch or a tree visibly leaning toward a structure, we also offer priority scheduling within 24 hours.
If you suspect a tree on your property poses an imminent risk, don't wait for a storm to prove it. Call us for a hazard assessment. Our tree inspection service is the best way to identify and address risks before they become emergencies. And if you've recently experienced storm damage, our team can also assess whether storm damage tree removal is needed beyond what's immediately visible.
Our emergency crews are stationed across Carney, MD and dispatch immediately. In most cases we arrive within 2–4 hours of your call, even in the middle of the night during peak storm season.

Every emergency job is covered under our $2 million liability policy. We provide proof of insurance on arrival so you can document the response for your homeowner's insurance claim.

Our lead arborist evaluates the scene before any cutting begins, identifying secondary risks, checking for utility involvement, and planning the safest removal sequence.
We address the highest-risk elements first: widow makers, tree sections resting on structures, and anything threatening people or utilities. Safety comes before speed.
Working section by section, we remove the tree using rigging, aerial lifts, and ground crew coordination. Every cut is deliberate and controlled, minimizing impact on your property.
All cut wood, branches, and debris are loaded and hauled away. The area is raked and blown clean before our crew leaves.
Before departing, we flag any other trees on the property that may pose future risk and recommend next steps, whether that's monitoring, cabling, or removal.
